Textpresso is an information extracting and processing package for biological literature. It was initially developed by Hans-Michael Muller, Eimear Kenny and Paul W. Sternberg, with contributions from Juancarlos Chan and David Chen. This new version (officially known as Textpresso 2.0) was developed by Hans-Michael Muller with contributions from Arun Rangarajan and Tracy K. Teal. Textpresso is part of WormBase at the California Institute of Technology, California. Textpresso is supported by a grant from the National Human Genome Research Institute at the US National Institutes of Health # HG004090.

The Gene Ontology Consortium holds a copyright for most of the contents of the 'Biological Process', 'Molecular Function' and 'Cellular Component' ontologies used on this site. All other material in this web site are copyrighted by the authors of the Textpresso Project at the California Institute of Technology. All materials appearing on this server may not be reproduced or stored in a retrieval system without prior written permission of the publisher and in no case for profit. Documents from this server are provided "AS-IS" without any warranty, expressed or implied.
